We represent our clients’ interests in the acquisition or sale of commercial, agricultural, and residential real property; negotiate and enforce office, commercial, and industrial leases for tenants and landlords; and represent owners, contractors, and subcontractors on construction and development projects.
In addition, we prepare documentation necessary to close, and fund, real estate related transactions and assist our clients in obtaining and providing title insurance policies. We offer a full range of title services and perform title closings regularly using the services of All Ohio Title Agency, LLC.
While a significant portion of our real estate practice involves clients engaged directly in the real estate business, we also work extensively with the firm’s other business clients on issues and initiatives relating to their real estate assets. The attorneys at Fisher, Skrobot & Sheraw, LLC are experts in real estate contracts and specialize in dealing with complex and hard to understand real estate documents. Member David Skrobot is used by attorneys at other firms as an expert witness on real estate contracts during litigation.
Our attorneys are experienced in in coordinating all legal aspects of construction projects, including the negotiation and drafting of construction contracts, construction management agreements and design professional contracts, as well as legal matters relating to the construction process, such as mechanics’ liens issues, permitting matters, payment and performance bonds and construction disputes.
